Adam Bornemissza
Adam Bornemissza is an enthusiastic acoustic guitar player. He performs his own songs alone with his guitar. His musical style is greatly influenced by the traditional blues and the American white boy folk music. He has also played in several other music styles, but he feels himself best in the simple songs originating from the folk music. He plays the guitar, mandolin, banjo and the bass guitar.
In his lyrics, he tries to cover real Hungarian and European subjects, and directly sings about general values of the life, the pleasure, sorrow and desire of an average man.
Adam Bornemissza was born in Budapest in 1971. He started learning music at the age of 6, first on mandolin, and later on guitar. He started playing the bass in his teens, and joined various bands, Carmen (2001), Zsolt Benko Group (2002-2007) and Petra Börnerova Band (2005-2007). He still plays the bass time to time as a session musician. He also plays Dobro guitar, banjo, kazoo and sings in the Jugging Stones band who was formed to attend the Czech Blues Alive festival in 2005.
